Toki has its origins from Tāne the Māori guardian of procreation and knowledge.
Traditionally, Toki were used to adze out waka (canoe) arround the time of the great migration to Aotearoa. Men would use the toki binded together with a wooden handle and would work tirelessly to create their waka.
A symbol of strength and integrity, the bearer of this Toki possesses these traits and they have a relationship with the forrest and the sea. A great gift for you or a friend.
These Toki earrings are 8-9cm in length. Width varies between 0.7-1.2cm and have dark silver rings & hooks.
